Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains what information SleepCalcs (sleepcalcs.com) handles when you use the site, and which third-party services are involved. We try to keep it short and clear.
What stays in your browser
SleepCalcs offers sleep calculators, quizzes, planners and checklists. You enter details such as a bedtime, a wake-up time, an age or quiz answers. These tools are built to work directly in your browser. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name or email address to use a tool.
The results you see are for general information only. They are not medical advice.
Information collected through third-party services
The site uses two third-party services. They may collect information about your visit through cookies and similar technologies. This information can include your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you interact with them.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure audience and understand how the site is used. For example, we can see which tools are visited most and which pages need improvement. Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize a browser across page views and visits. We use this data to improve the site, not to identify you personally.
Google AdSense
The site is free to use, and we display ads through Google AdSense to cover its costs. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to show ads on our pages. These cookies can be used to:
- display ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites;
- show personalized advertising, where this is permitted;
- measure how ads perform and help limit fraud and abuse.
You can learn how Google uses data in advertising at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage or turn off personalized advertising in your Google ad settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
We do not control the cookies set by Google, and we do not have access to them. Their use is governed by Google's own policies.
Cookies and how to control them
Cookies are small files stored on your device. On this site they are used for audience measurement and advertising, as described above. You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block them, the calculators should still work, but ads may be less relevant and we will have less information about how the site is used.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. These can include the right to:
- ask what data is held about you and request a copy;
- ask for correction or deletion of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing, including personalized advertising;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because we do not run user accounts, most data linked to cookies is held by Google and not by us. To exercise your rights over that data, use the Google links above or your browser settings. You can also write to us and we will help where we can.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Some pages, such as Sleep for Kids, are written for parents and caregivers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the services it uses change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest update.
